Building material prices are rising literally every day... And the further we go, the more terrifying it becomes to go to a hardware store. We're experiencing this firsthand, as we're scrambling to get our small house ready for winter while we can still buy anything at the old prices. We're working nonstop, settling in step by step, and showing you our real life as displaced people.

In this video, we went shopping for building materials together, checked prices, looked at flooring, wallpaper, plaster, mortar, and everything we needed for our upcoming renovation. We share our thoughts, plans, and how we're surviving and adapting to the current reality. Prices are rising very quickly, so we understand that if you can buy something now, it's best not to put it off, because in a week it could cost a whole new amount.
We also responded to many of your comments about our house, heating, insulation, windows, and future plans. Yes, the house is still without power, water, and gas, but we're not sitting idle. We've already developed the plot, planted a vegetable garden, cleared the area, and now we're gradually moving on to the house itself. We're slowly preparing everything for the upcoming renovation, cleaning the walls, cleaning the rooms, bringing in building materials, and thinking ahead, because winter won't wait.
We really want to prepare for the cold weather in advance. We've already lived through difficult times, evacuations, constant shelling, and living in rented apartments, and we understand how important it is today to have our own quiet place where we can build a future for our family and children. Things may not go quickly, and we may have to do a lot of the work ourselves, but the main thing is to keep moving forward.
