The Devilbiss Statement - https://cpap.review/devilbiss-statement
In the statement they do say that the DV5 (intellipap and sleepcube) models do contain PE-PUR sound abatement foam.
I think the fact that the foam used ( and there's a lot of it exposed to the turbine / air intake ) is polyester polyurethane PE-PUR means that devilbiss probably needs to have some independent lab results done to back up their statement that it is indeed safe.
It's not adequate to just say that it's different without having some sort of proof to show us the chemical composition is different etc
The last thing i want to see is a one of the small cpap manufacturers get sucked into this mess but we need to no for sure if indeed it is safe.
If DeVilbiss wish to contact me to discuss you are more than welcome and i'd be more than happy to do another video if there is indeed some evidence you can provide me with to prove the safety of the foam.
Thanks guys, just watching out for you all.
