In this video, we will be going over the advanced features of AI Audio Redaction with CaseGuard.

In the previous video, we learned how to pin and use the “Transcription” panel, which allows us to transcribe and redact our audio using the transcription, and the “Analytics” panel which simplifies grouping and redacting our PIIs.

To access the audio “Visualization” options, right-click on the center area of the Workspace.
“Audio Waveform” which is the default visualization, the other options include:
“Digital Impulse Wave.”
“Heat map.”
“Audio Frequency Spectrum.”
“Audio Bars.”
And “No Visualization.”
There are more advanced features for Audio Redaction if you select the “Transcription Panel.”
“Match The Whole Word,” if this is selected, you have to type out the entire word you are looking for within your Transcription Search Bar for it to be found and highlighted throughout the Transcription.
Once unselected, typing “T” or “R” will highlight anything with those two letters, similar to the search options you may be familiar with on Word documents.
Use the “Match Case” feature if you want your word searches to be an exact match based on the upper or lower case.
“Underline Low-Confidence Words: This underlines words in the Transcription Panel with a green, yellow, or red line. These colors signify the confidence level of the Transcription.
Hovering over each underlined word shows the confidence level, with red being lower than yellow and green.
By right-clicking and selecting “Go-to Position,” you’re able to play back the audio to confirm if the Transcription is correct.
If it’s correct, right-click the underlined word and select “Mark as Accurate.”
If incorrect, right-click, select “Edit” and correct the word or phrase. - Select “Mark as Accurate” once it has been updated.
“Show Speakers” separates what is being said by whom.
“Shorten The Speaker's Sentences” is a feature that breaks up long blocks or paragraphs into shorter sentences and segments.
There are advanced options available on the audio wave as well.
Right-click anywhere on the audio wave and select "Copy Effects To."
It will allow you to choose from all the video files currently available in your CaseGuard Studio project.
You can select to copy the exact Redaction points and Effects to one or all the videos in your CaseGuard project.
Within the Transcription Panel, you can search for the name of the speaker and select to collectively mute, bleep, or change voice every time they speak.

In the next video, we will learn about the Translation, Closed Captioning, and Block-List AI Automatic Audio Redaction features in CaseGuard Studio.

Happy Redacting!
