Ropa Vieja translates to Old clothes and comes from a story of an old homeless man miraculously created a stew out of his old clothes. Highly unlikely but I love a good story. It’s a classic Latin Dish in Spain, Cuba, all over latin America and is one of my favorite things to eat whenever I visit Miami.
