poem: EVERYBODY’S WEARING YELLOW
everybody’s wearing yellow,
i’m the solitary blue,
a stranger to this vibrant colour,
stuck in a somber hue,
mismatched amid the brightness,
but not as dim as I’d believed,
for under all this isolation,
brews a quiet strength to be retrieved
