Trying Out A Mod! - Risk of Rain 2: Random Survivor
Another interesting Risk of Rain 2 Mod that I am trying out, called 'Random Survivor' and was created by LuaFubuki. You may of heard about mods that change your model and let you play as a different character, but this mod takes it a step further.
Now you can play as a Random NPC from the game, with various different abilities. Imp, Titan, Scavenger, Lemurian - you name it. The drawback is that some of these survivors are a little buggy and in some cases, their abilities aren't very balanced or suit a reliable play style. Expect to die a couple of times, while getting used to how they play. That being said, I highly recommend it, if you want to add some more spice to your gameplay (and survivor roster).
The mod uses a seed generator to determine the survivor and their abilities. Changing a text file with-in the ROR2 game folder can determine the seed and in turn, what survivors you can play the game with.
This mod requires BepInEx and R2API in order to work correctly.
