Serving the higher educational needs of Carroll County for more than 30 years, Jefferson Community and Technical College, Carrollton Campus, transforms lives and the community through educational excellence in an inclusive environment that opens doors for all students. Located across from General Butler State Park on US Hwy. 227, Jefferson offers numerous career/technical, transfer and transitional educational opportunities. Students can earn associate degrees, diplomas and certificates in a variety of disciplines including practical nursing, applied process technologies, engineering electronics technology and welding. In August 2017, Jefferson opened the doors of its new 48-thousand-square-foot facility which houses more than $2 million in state-of-the-art equipment for the college’s electrical engineering, applied process technologies and welding programs.
