Chernobyl NIXIE TUBE weighing scale gets a second life!
We repaired the rarest Soviet 1261VN-3CT "DYNA" weighing scale. While this very device came to our lab, not from the Chornobyl Zone, it is exactly the same as those used in the stores of Pripyat before the disaster of 1986. In the shops of Chornobyl (yes, there are, as there is staff working), these were used up to ±1993. It is based on IN-12 Nixie tube indicators, and it is the earliest type of electronic weighing scale ever produced in the USSR.
It was given to a private collector for a future museum of measuring and weighing devices in Dnipro, Ukraine.
