You can now install the basic operating system much more easily!

Check this out:

Then proceed with the Pi-hole installation as usual.

With Pi-hole, you can block ads from the internet before they even reach your PC, smartphone, or tablet.

Caution: Since you will need to change some of your network configuration during installation, you should know exactly what you are doing. Otherwise, get someone who knows what they're doing to help you.

UPDATE: The list with almost 1.4 million entries no longer seems to work. Try looking at

I only imported the green entries there, and it works perfectly for me.

-- Terminal commands:

Update Raspberry Pi OS: `sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade`
Install Pi-hole: `curl -sSL https://install.pi-hole.net |` bash
Check if the request is actually going through the Raspberry Pi (example): nslookup chip.de
Change the blocklist update interval: sudo nano /etc/cron.d/pihole
