How to Carrier Unlock SIM Locked iPhone with eSIM
In this video I will show you how to carrier unlock your "eSIM only" iPhone. Please follow this tutorial step by step try not to skip any part of the video.
First make sure your iPhone is locked, go to:
Settings - General - About - Carrier Lock : SIM Locked
If your iPhone is unlocked it should say: "Not SIM Restrictions".

Once you found what carrier locked your iPhone, contact your carrier and do an unlock request, in this video I used this page: https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/
Your carrier will let you know if your iPhone qualifies for a FREE unlock, if not they will let you know the reason why it didn't qualified.
This server unlock if permanent, you can update or factory reset your iPhone and you will not loose the unlock on your iPhone.
