This is just a quick little showcase of a few different mods working in tandem to create a cool experience in The Witcher 3. All credit to the mod creators. Links are awaiting verification, but you can find the mod author's work on the Nexus with the information below:
Random Encounters Reworked by Aeltoth
Advanced Next-Gen Camera by menschfeind13
Immersive Exploration by menschfeind13 as well
To put it simply Immersive Exploration is like autopilot for Geralt, but it's pretty smart. It has road following capabilities much like roach, but you don't have to hold any buttons down, freeing your hands up to look at the world around you, which is something I love to do in The Witcher 3. It's such a beautiful world.
When you encounter bad guys or monsters, the mod simply turns off and you have control again. It's very natural and actually makes me feel more immersed, even though it's taking control for me.
Think about it, if you go for a walk you aren't thinking about steering your body around really. You just walk there, and look around on the way, notice things. This mod kinda makes that possible in-game. It also makes really cool panning shots possible
Oh, and it works with the Gervant First Person mod by crthdr...I'll be posting some videos with that soon. It's incredibly cool.
