Refocusing and finding the right major - Featuring Chase Rust
After starting his college journey at UNI, Chase Rust dropped out to enter the workforce. The transition from a small high school to a big university campus had been jarring, and after switching majors several times, he wanted to take a break to refocus.
While working in a warehouse job, he and his friends built a computer. It sparked a new interest for Chase, which led to the Network Administration and Engineering program at Hawkeye.
“The level of growth to where I am now from where I was two years ago is very impressive,” he said. “Because of Hawkeye, I’m ready to enter the IT field with full confidence.”
