Sony A6700, Catalyst Browse, Gyroflow stabilization showdown. I tested all three A6700 in-body modes—Off, Standard, and Active—plus post-stabilization in Catalyst and Gyroflow.
I wanted to see if I could match or even beat the Pocket 3’s famously smooth footage without using a gimbal. Spoiler: it took about a 6% crop in post no matter the in-camera mode. But with Gyroflow now detecting lens metadata (just like Catalyst) and offering free 10-bit exports, it might just be the better option.
