On November 3rd at the Harmony Gold Theater in Hollywood, the stars came out for the premiere of the dynamic new movie musical “1660 Vine”. With a storyline based around the world of influencers, the movie focuses on the characters who are each vying for their lucky break and how much they are willing to sacrifice to make it happen. With an incredible cast, directors, and choreographers, 1660 Vine is a feel-good film to help get you motivated and inspired at whatever point you are at in your career and to live out your dreams. About 1660 Vine (Official Press Release)

1660 Vine was directed by acclaimed theater director Patricia McGregor (artistic director, New York Theater Workshop), from an original screenplay by Jackson Prince, original songs by a group of 20-something songwriters, with music supervision by David Lawrence & Faye Greenberg (both of High School Musical) and lead produced by Kevin Surace, Michael Jackowitz and Jonathan Prince. Choreography by Paula Abdul. The film stars Khemuni Norodom, Maya Lagerstam, Chris Olsen, Brianna Rose Gentilella, Malachi Durant, Pia Toscano, CJ Cruz, Jaiden Klein and Cheryl Porter. Together, the cast has more than 50 million social media followers.
1660 Vine is a WitzEnd Productions/PhilmCo Media release. This high-energy movie musical follows a group of influencers as they take up residence in a famed Hollywood apartment building to pursue their dreams of social media stardom. The diverse characters of 1660 Vine confront questions of fame, influence, identity, and mental health. All the while, the residents update their followers through vlogs, gaming streams, makeup tutorials, TikTok dances, songs and pranks, as they discover the difference between what is authentic and what is not.
Playing for one week at the Lumiere Cinema at the Music Hall in Beverly Hills, starting Nov. 4, the film will start streaming Nov. 4 on StreamingMusicals.com, BroadwayOnDemand.com and Vimeo.com. And Dec. 9-11, students at Hollywood High School will give the musical its live stage debut. In 2023, 1660 Vine will be available for license to high schools, colleges, as well as community and professional theaters nationally, targeting a Broadway debut in 2024. Lakeshore Records and all major streaming platforms will release the soundtrack on Nov. 21st.
