iMovie Freezing During Export Fix

It’s very frustrating to work so hard on a project and have such issues exporting it. I’m sorry you’re going through this, but don’t worry, I have the fix. I had so many clips that were sped up or in slow motion in this project. It caused the iMovie export to freeze. I thought I would have to delete them or not have slow motion. It turns out the audio on the slow motion and sped up clips cause the issue. I really wanted to keep the audio instead of muting it. I found out that you can detach the audio and still keep it.
If your issue isn’t with the slow motion or sped up clips, I found the issue to be too many flashing lights. We went to a light show and the super flashy blinking clips caused the export to fail and freeze.
