#Jeep Grand #Cherokee WK Rear Differential Fluid Change !
Procedure may be the same on the WK1 Jeep Models from 2005-2010
2 quarts of 75w-140 differential fluid - This one has Additive in it
Tools:
13mm Socket
Ratchet
Utility knife
Gloves
Rtv sealant
Carb cleaner
Hammer & Flat head screw driver
Oil drain pan
Steps Below:
1. Remove 13mm diff cover bolts.
2. Pry diff cover off.
3. Clean mating surfaces.
4. Clean diff cover.
5. Apply RTV sealant.
6. Install diff cover.
7. Let ATV sealant dry for 15 minutes.
8. Remove Fill plug.
9. Fill diff with 75w-140
10. Fill until fluid drips out of fill hole.
11. Install fill plug.
12. Check for leaks.
