DEEP ORE HUNTING testing JTurp's Hover Script link
DEEP Ores are those that you will only find at 500m or more (some you only will find at 1km or more!), generated through various mods you will find on the Steam Workshop.
In this video we go hunting for the deep ore using a recently found script called JTurp's Hover Script https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/f...
This script controls the ship and takes over the tedious task of flying the ship for you - leaving you time to do other tasks, including monitoring the HUD for ores that are buried deep within the planet/asteroid.
Of course, you need an Ore Detector that extends deep enough!
In our case, we are using only the 'vanilla' detectors so they only see those ores that are within 450m of the surface (deeper ore hunting is more 'hunt/peck' or you can get a mod for your Ore Detector if you want to make things easier)
Once you find the ore, this ship can generate an 'Ore Antenna' and drop it off at the location, marking it for later drilling.
Using this HOVER script as your autopilot makes things a lot simpler - watch the video to the end for full setup and use.
