I finally figured out which motor is responsible for changing the modes between defrost, vent and feet (or whatever that's called). I've been trying to figure it out so I can either repair or replace the motor that has become faulty - and - today - the damned thing started working.....so - I figured i'd share this knowledge so you and I can save a few bucks.
