Sat.tv 1.0.1 - Installation & Channel Lists
Sat.tv is a free service supplied by Eutelsat to make free satellite TV a better experience for viewers. The Sat.tv service is fully operational at the Nilesat-Eutelsat orbital position (7/8W), at Eutelsat’s 13E Hotbird position and will be deployed later on other Eutelsat satellites.
INSTALLATION
• Super-quick and accurate install all channels from single Home TP 11179H: no need to waste an hour blind scanning 140 TPs one-by-one.
• No more low res SD duplicate channels: all replaced by HD “sisters”
• No more blank “test” channels: typically over 130 blank “test” channels clutter lists
• New channels automatically added (daily)
• Frequency changes automatically updated to all STBs (daily)
• No need to rescan satellites to add new channels or find missing ones

• Channels identified with their logos
• Channel names in Arabic
• English channel names properly formatted
CHOOSE FROM 16 DIFFERENT CHANNEL LINEUPS
Channels numbered from 1 to 99 are arranged differently depending on the lineup you choose. This makes it easier to find the channels which are popular in your country, for example:
1. Iraq lineup has lots of Iraqi channels in this part of the list
2. Egypt lineup has lots of Egyptian channels
3. Moroccan lineup has lots of Moroccan channels
It is easy to switch between lineups to find what you suits you.
CHANNELS ABOVE #100 ORGANIZED BY GENRE
1. These channel numbers are the same regardless of which lineup you choose
2. Channels above #100 are organized according to their genre (type). For example:
Ch #100 … General channels
Ch #300 … Films & Dramas channels
Ch #500 … Documentaries channels
Ch #600 … Cooking channels
Ch #700 … Education & Culture
Ch #800 … Sports channels
Ch #900 … News channels
Ch #1100 … Music channels
Ch #1000 … Religious channels
Ch #1200 … Childrens channels
Ch #1300 … Religious channels
Ch #1200 … Other channels
Ch #1600 … Other channels
Ch #2000 … Sat.tv Help Channel
3. Channel numbers above #100 always stay constant
Specific channels will be given the same numbers if you install today, or next week, or next year
Channels have the same numbers if you install on one receiver in the front room, a second receiver in the bedroom, and a third receiver at your cousin’s house
New channels are added frequently and assigned unused numbers

• Technical integration of the Sat.tv protocols is free of charge and open to all manufacturers of satellite receivers.
