Starlink Rocket Launch | SWIR & MWIR
We were able to capture the launch of the SpaceX Falon9 Starlink 12-4 Launch on January 14th. The Weather was quite cloudy, but we were able to find a good angle on the launch pad. We were 13 miles out from the launch site with the Crocus 1000 and able to capture an amazing view.
RP Optical’s Crocus lens is a commercial off the shelf lens designed high quality image across long distance. The CROCUS works in the SWIR band (0.9-1.8µm) and has focal length of 100-1000mm.
The OWL 1280 is Raptors high resolution VIS-SWIR camera that has a compact frame with a big output.
