How To Make an 8-Bit Retro VG Animation: Episode 1 - The Sprite Animation
In this Episode, we will teach you how to animate and render a clean sprite in Adobe Photoshop and Import it into After FX. In After FX we teach you how to sequence the animation correctly, and position them in time with each keyframe.
We go over some simple tips for staying organized, cleaning up your animation, and what you should and should not do when animating a sprite in After FX. We go over basic positions, and show you what keyframing is, how effective it is in animating sprites, and when you should keyframe.
