Watersheds and hydrographs (Week 6, Lecture 1)
In this video, I'll describe what a watershed is and show examples at different scales. Then, I'll talk about how rain that falls on land gets to a stream and how that contributes to a stream's discharge over time (a hydrograph). Finally, I'll briefly describe how a watershed's characteristics affect the stream hydrograph.
