"As I conclude part 1 of this LIO combo, I am pretty much sold on the flexibility that Vinnie Rossi has mustered up in this gorgeous sounding box of music love. The RVC/Tube module is squeaky clean and competes with some of the best I have heard in house. Its crystal clear presentation sounds as transparent as anything passive - yet with the magic of tubes behind it, it has more heft and weight especially in dynamic passages. Given the unique flexibility that LIO offers, I would be happy with an exclusive and monogynous relationship and forget all the preamps and power amps out there in audio land. In regards to the P3esr’s, they hold a special place in my heart. While id contend my tried and true Ryan R610s will give more bang for the buck and offer more versatility, the vocal delivery on the Harbeth’s is a new favorite for that specific application. Yes, the P3’s sound incredible and comes with high recommendations from New Record Day."
