Bushcraft: Making a Bushcraft Camp - Building a Shelter, Alone in Winter (Part Four)

With temperatures remaining below freezing and heavy snowfall covering the area, Canoe Builder and Outdoorsman, Jason Eke heads out to continue building the Bushcraft Camp.

Bushcraft: Building a Bushcraft Camp

More and more snow has been falling, and with the wind blowing it around its a losing battle keeping it out of the shelter.

It’s Christmas day and despite the heavy snow hitting the area I decide to focus on building the front of the camp shelter.

The idea is to create a wilderness camp that would include a shelter, fire pit, cooking facilities, storage/firewood area, and a bushcrafting area.

This is the fifth in a series of bushcraft and wilderness survival skills or camping skills videos.

In the previous episodes I've scouted out a location and began to set up a semi-permanent shelter.

In the next video I continue to build the Bushcraft Camp as temperatures continue to drop and winter freezes the Canadian Wilderness, fire becomes an important part of the Camp.

I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching! 🙂
