SHRDC's Enhanced Technology Training Experience
The Selangor Human Resource Development Centre (SHRDC) launched a fully-online remote training model to continue providing effective Smart Factory competency-based training throughout COVID-19 lockdowns and closures. This unique facilitated hybrid training approach integrates learning material hosted on the OpenLearning platform, with technical training exercises run on SHRDC’s Remote Online Training (ROT) Lab facilities at their premises.
To date, SHRDC has conducted over 650 cumulative hours of training delivered via ROT to over 31 organisations, with a 100% program satisfaction rate across all trainers and participants. In this partner showcase session, Dr. Chua shares the structure of this hybrid program and highlights how, together with OpenLearning, it creates an enhanced technology training experience.
