OpenMediaVault: Configure Disks, Shares, SMB and Users
Open Media Vault Configure Disks Shares SMB and Users. Following up from part one where we installed OpenMediaVault, we complete all the configuration needed to make this 4 Terabytes of storage available to Windows PCs on the network. Change the admin password. Set a fixed IP address on the network. Add the 4TB USB hard drive. Partition and format it. Create shares. Configure SMB to make the shares available to Windows PCs. Create user accounts with permissions to access the shares.
