Best of ME: Village Fair Promotion
Winsome Wishes for Kids (WWKIDS) is pleased to invite your school and up to twenty of your students in Grades 5 through 6th Form,to our inaugural mental health conference under the theme: “The Best of Me” on March 17, 2023, from 9am -2pm, at the Karl Hendrickson Auditorium, Jamaica College, in Kingston .
WWKIDS collaborates with Lead Outreach Initiative and Radar Relief groups, presenting “ The Best Of Me” - student centered mental health workshops in the form of a village fair. These workshops will see Dr. Teresa Taylor Williams, Psychotherapist, NYC and Dr. Patrece Charles-King, Counseling Psychologist at Phoenix Counseling Centre in Kingston, as our mental health psychologists sharing simple solid solutions on the “Hows'' and “Whats'' to students, parents and educators. The key aim is to assist persons taking charge of themselves when challenged mentally.
The two day workshops are scheduled for March 17 (Students) and 18 (Adults), 2023.
The workshops will be seeking to equip students and adults with:
Understanding your learning style/s with Dr. Karine Clay
How Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Impact Mental Health - An exploration into thinking skills and triggers to improve problem solving….A collaborative approach with Dr. Patrece Charles-King
Educating the audience on how critical the role that Social Emotional Learning plays in promoting student success - an interactive session with Dr. Teresa Taylor Williams
