Today we want to tell you the story of a young man named Hersh Goldberg-Polin.
Hersh, 23, was planning to go on a trip around the world. He had planned this trip meticulously and had already bought his ticket for the first leg of his journey.
But October 7th changed those plans. When the attack began Hersh and his friends hid in a bomb shelter, but Hamas terrorists found them and threw grenades into the shelter.
Hersh was badly wounded, losing an arm in the attack. He was then taken hostage into Gaza and we have not heard from him since.
Hersh’s mother has tirelessly advocated for Hersh and the other hostages making appeals for their rescue and release.
We are so grateful for every one of you that has joined us in Praying by Name for the hostages. We encourage you to continue to log up Hersh and the other 130+ hostages in prayer.
