"Same Baptism, Same Spirit, Same Calling": A Vigil on the Eve of the 2024 Synod
On Oct 1, 2024, at the Basilica of St. Praxedes in Rome, on the Feast of St. Therese of Lisieux, WOC gathered with Women's Ordination Worldwide and international partners to raise up the theme: "Same Baptism, Same Spirit, Same Calling," With testimonies from Poland, South Africa, and the U.S., we invoked the spirit of Episcopa Theodora, St. Therese of Lisieux, Sr. Theresa Kane, RSM, Bishop Patricia Fresen, RCWP and so many of our courageous ancestors, and prayed for a growing recognition of the equality of people of all genders.
