A study conducted in the UK in February 2023 found that a four-day workweek pilot increased employee satisfaction and did not result in a decrease in productivity.
The four-day workweek is being tested in many countries across Europe. Prior to Germany, this practice was also trialed in Belgium, the UK, and Portugal.
