I love the floating cup technique so I was excited to try a double open cup acrylic pour. I used a monochromatic palette of purple grays and silver.
I used two different sized open cups and poured the colors in different orders in each of them.
The tricky part with double cups is merging the two paint puddles together. I did a lot of tilting on this one. I like the results but I'm not thrilled with them. But I do love the possibilities of the double cup.

I like the consistency of my paints to form the slightest mound when running off the stir stick into the cup of paint.
