The Ural-6464 is an experimental long-haul truck built in 2005 by the Ural Automobile Plant.
This was the company's attempt to enter the road vehicle market: the old licensed Iveco cabin was supplemented with a high roof and hood made of fiberglass. The design of this bonnet truck was created by designers from the Izhevsk studio I-Design.
The Ural-6464 truck had a 6x4 wheel arrangement, with Chinese FAW drive axles with final drives and differential locks at the rear. All wheels had leaf spring suspension. The truck was equipped with an eight-cylinder YaMZ-7511 diesel engine with a displacement of 14.9 liters and a power output of 400 hp. s., paired with a nine-speed transmission.
The long-haul tractor project did not progress further. According to some sources, the plant produced only three Ural-6464 prototypes, two of which were subsequently sold to customers and used for transportation.
