Haval Jolion 2024 2WD, 1.5 l, 6 st. manual transmission, 143 hp, Gasoline AI-95. Measured fuel consumption based on the on-board computer in urban mode. The driving mode in the city was mainly as follows:
1) morning - warming up the car with the alarm key fob for 15 minutes + driving around the city for 10 km, with an average speed of 40-60 km / h. Turned off the car.
2) evening - warming up the car with the alarm key fob for 15 minutes + driving around the city for 10 km, with an average speed of 40-60 km / h.
In total, the car's mileage for 1 day was 20 km and 30 minutes of warming up with the alarm key fob. This mode of operation of the car was from a mileage of 365 km to a mileage of 964 km, i.e. about 600 km.
The highway mileage was recorded at 365 km and amounted to a modest 6.9 liters per 100 km. A very decent result.
After a 365 km run on the car, there was purely urban use.
At 964 km, urban fuel consumption was recorded, since the figures for consumed fuel did not increase anymore and amounted to 10.2 liters per 100 km. Is this a lot or a little????
In my opinion, I consider this consumption to be a very decent result for this car. The first thing I would like to stop my attention on is the weight of this passenger car. It is an impressive 1420 kg. This is the mass in the unladen state. The technically permissible maximum mass is 1740 kg.
For comparison, the mass in the unladen state of the Lada Granta is 1100 kg. It turns out that the Haval Jolion weighs 320 kg more in the unladen state than the Lada Granta. The difference in the declared consumption of these 2 cars is about 1 liter. Haval Jolion fuel consumption according to the data from the official dealer's website. Urban cycle, l / 100 km - 9.9. Combined cycle, l / 100 km - 7.5.
Lada Granta - City consumption 9.0 l. Combined cycle, l / 100 km - 7.4 l.
As you know, these fuel consumption figures are approximate, since much depends on the driving style, the number of passengers in the car, the type of drive, engine power, the presence of a turbine, the weight of the cargo carried, the terrain in which the car is operated and a number of other important factors. One thing can be said for sure that with relatively close fuel consumption figures, Haval Jolion is significantly heavier than Lada Granta by almost 320 kg, which is quite a large figure.
According to personal feelings, for such a large car as Haval Jolion, the consumption figures for AI-95 automotive fuel are acceptable and will not cause significant financial costs to the car owner. If the movement is carried out on the highway, then the consumption of 6.9 liters per 100 km is a very decent result and will also please the car owner.
Being the owner of Haval Jolion, the main question, which remains under a large veil of secrecy, is the reliability of the units and assemblies of this car. When purchasing a car of a Chinese brand, I really hope that from the technical side there will be no breakdowns at all ... I really want to hope that the declared resource under the warranty of the car will be used without serious breakdowns. With my short mileage in the city and occasionally on the highway, the car should last about 15 years, until the maximum mileage is reached, which is given by dealers for the car.
This time, in general, everything. I continue to closely monitor this new car Haval Jolion 2024 2WD, 1.5 l., with 6 st. manual transmission and rejoice in the purchase made. I really hope that the car will not let me down and will justify my high confidence in this product of the Chinese auto industry, produced in the Tula region. Thank you all for your attention. Good health and see you soon.
