Monster Hunter: World - Poogie Explained
So our little Poogie is not only cute and can be cuddled and carried around it can also be leveled AND dressed up.
You first need to raise Poogie's affection towards you by petting him successfully till he jumps in circles and throws around all these hearts.
In order to do so you need to hit O on PS4 / B on Xbox One as soon as the exclamation mark pops up over Poogie's head while petting.
This can only be done once between quests. So look for Poogie everytime you get back from a quest.
You can then carry Poogie around and when you notice a short controller vibration you press Square on PS4 / X on Xbox One and Poogie will start digging something up.
