Y-Sorting is so important and it must be done right to make the player feel like they are really within the world you’ve created for them. So I created this tutorial for Godot 4.3+ to explain how y-sorting works in godot, and how you can implement it within your own projects step by step. We will cover everything from tilemap ysorting, ysort origins, layering, z-index, and so much more. If you have any questions or any confusion anywhere then please let me know in the comments so I can help you out!
