For Shade's Role Reversal Contest
OH MY DAYS. Not only have I been working solidly on this for three days, but it took three hours to render and a further three hours to upload to YT. WTF? Anyways, here's my VERY LATE entry for Shade's contest. All I can say is I TRIED. The chroma keying looks dreadful, but I'm still learning. In a strange way, I am proud of this. =)

STORYLINE:
Moses is a sorcerer hell bent on revenge against Pharaoh Rameses, who ordered the execution of Moses' lover, the sorceress Esmeralda. Together, Moses and Esmeralda had caused much death and disruption using their magic, and Rameses felt he had to take drastic steps to stop them. Moses comes across the siren Kida, a force neither good nor evil, and makes a deal with her. Kida's orders are to seduce and kill Rameses, and in return Moses will make her immortal.
Rameses is completely enchanted by Kida, and despite his better judgement, he finds himself falling for her. He knows she isn't human, and he suffers an on-going struggle inside himself, as to whether he should pursue the relationship, or concentrate more fully on making sure his kingdom is safe. After spending the night together, Rameses realises he can't be with Kida and leaves her. Although Rameses isn't dead, Moses feels satisfied that his heart is somewhat broken.
Kida, furious at being used by both Moses and Rameses, decides to give up her magic and become mortal, in hope that Rameses will come to his senses. Moses sees this and casts a spell which then destroys Kida and any hope of her happy ending with Rameses.
Grief-stricken, Rameses carries Kida's body to her final resting place. He says to Moses he will not pursue him any longer, and that he now knows how it feels to lose the person he loves most. Seeing no other option, Rameses takes his own life by submitting himself to the raging sea.
