The estimation of wave pressure on structures is complex during tsunami due to its unpredictable velocity and direction which depends on various ocean parameters.
3D Reynolds Averaged Navier–Stokes equations are solved to describe the flow. Realizable k–" turbulence model is employed for the turbulence modeling. In order to simulate two-phase (air and water) flow, volume of fluid (VOF) technique is used.
In this eye-opening video, we break down the complex interactions between powerful ocean waves and structural integrity, revealing the shocking effects of tsunami forces on architecture.

Watch as we meticulously simulate the tsunami's behavior and its catastrophic consequences, providing a detailed visual representation that you MUST see to believe. Our analysis not only highlights the sheer power of nature but also emphasizes the importance of designing resilient structures to withstand such natural disasters.

Join us for this captivating exploration of science, engineering, and the unforgiving nature of tsunamis. Whether you're a student, an engineer, or just a curious viewer, this CFD simulation will expand your understanding of fluid dynamics and disaster preparedness.
