a side note: i know asking transguys previous names is usually frowned upon, and i didn't say my name because i gave in to requests or anything, but at this point, i mean, i'm free of it. it's part of my past, a part i didn't choose and shouldn't be ashamed of. i still completely understand why many transguys would not want to share their birth names, it's not important or relevant and is a touchy subject. in my case, though, i'm free as hell of it and couldn't care less. :]
