I carry the East in the West. As an East African Indian Canadian, I am continuously immersed in a tapestry of culture that brings rich colour to my perspective…I live this everyday, with my feet in both worlds. “I Still” is me in sonic form. It’s a harmony of East and West: a tuff and groovy bassline and a snare with a delicious snap – and a classic Indian Veena, played by my friend Radhika Baskar.
