Filtering data with Excel Wildcards
Welcome to Excel in a Minute!
Do you sometimes feel like the item you are looking for in your data is buried under a haystack?
In this video, you will learn how to use wildcards in Excel’s filter feature.
Let’s use this worksheet to show the general procedure.
First, highlight the cells you want to filter.
Then click the Sort and Filter ribbon to turn on the Filter function or you can simply press control, Shift, and L, an arrowhead will then appear on the header of the selected cells.
