Ep. 2 Wiring the Fart Detector Animatronics | FART-A-TUCHUS - Fart Detector
We threw around a lot of ideas on how to package our fart detector – from hand-held devices and telescoping wands to briefcases, lunchboxes and other household items. But knowing my 4-legged perpetrator, Eeyore, we decided to use something he’d never suspect – a stuffed animal he likes to sleep with!
In order to animate Eeyore’s stuffed buffalo, I made an endoskeleton out of scrap wood to anchor the components and Arduino. The plan is to give it LED indicator eyes, attach and wire the gas sensor to the end of its tail and get the servo working which should twitch the buffalo’s nose when the stink reaches military grade levels!
