Reading in Virtual Reality with StoryVR App by PlaySys
Together with the StoryVR association, we created a format to experience books in a new way. Using Virtual Reality you will be surrounded by a relaxing environment where you can listen to great stories narrated by amazing storytellers that will make you feel all the emotions that words are able to evoke.
The application permits you to load as many audiobooks as you like (in this trailer we used the glorious "The Raven" narrated by Sir Christopher Lee courtesy of StoryVR association).
The application is designed for the untethered virtual reality HMD OculusGO and is available in public libraries in Italy and South Korea.
The development of the StoryVR interactive platform for reading has been promoted by the StoryVR association and supported by Comune di Milano and UNESCO.
The initial part of this trailer demonstrates the behind the scenes of the visual development process by PlaySys.
The programming of this application has been entirely managed by PlaySys Software Engineering in Milan, Italy.
