ACE - Attend. Commit. Engage.
🚨 Research shows that missing school can have long-term, negative effects on students’ success, including the likelihood of whether they will graduate from high school, enroll, persist, and succeed in college, to make 💵, and keep a good job. 🚨 https://ace.e3alliance.org/
🛑 1 in 5 Central Texas students are chronically absent
43% of 9th graders who missed at least 20 days of school did not graduate on time
🛑 Students from low-income households missed 5 more days of school on average.
Even in these times of COVID-19 and remote learning, committing to education, and staying engaged ❤️ with your teacher and classmates is so important for future success.
