The probability of developing the disease is extremely high in people who have been consuming 100 g of alcohol for a long time (5 years or more) in terms of 96% alcohol (25 ml of vodka contains 10 g of alcohol). Alcoholic hepatitis usually develops very slowly, and the disease often goes unnoticed for a long time. As the disease progresses, cirrhosis of the liver and liver failure develop.
