Field Test - Goodwill Antenna Mast
Cosmetology stand tripod with extendable pole, both from Goodwill. Yaesu FT-70D at 5 watts through RG8x and a copper wire 1/4 wave ground plane antenna. Performed very well considering I was at a lower elevation and was able to reach repeaters across the mountains.
