Meet Sametta. She is 20 years old, in her second year at NHCC, and participates in the Trio program. She came with her uncle to the U.S. from Liberia when she was 14 years old because he thought she'd have a better life with more educational opportunities. In high school her focus was to make sure she graduated and didn't get distracted.
