Toca Me (Fragma) ft. Eva Martinez aka EvaLuna
My first break as an artist was with this track from Fragma.
I was in a make or die situation when Dj Sasha offered me the possibility of collaborating in this track just signed to the label Positiva (EMI)
What happened after that was unbelievable...would have never thought of making it to the charts less even to national top 10. It was one of the most prominent records back in the summer of 1999.
I was very young and really taken by it like storm...i dont think i was prepared for what was coming..I did my best but i knew this was only a taste of fame, only to realize i was never going to be nobody´s puppet. A year later, in 2000 , the track was re-remixed using Coco´s acappella "Need a Miracle" with my vocal as well and then became number 1.
When the time came to record the next track, I did not do it, it was not my style and could not pretend to play along. There was no interaction with Fragma and i just felt left out on my own traveling on a limousine while doing the shows and all the paparazzy stuff.
I could not voice what I wanted and i knew I need it to find who i truly was...the commitment was like marrying a blind date and to everyone´s surprise, I left to form my own label Sola Music 6 months later and became in charge of my own ship.
A lot has taken place since then...life has been an adventure and have been involved in a few very well chosen projects always creating, producing and in 2018 performing an electronic live act which i love the most.
