What is your mouse polling rate set to? 🤔
When it comes to decreasing input delay, your mouse polling rate is just as important as your FPS. The lowest polling rate I’ve seen is 125hz and even though that may sound like a lot, when you’re playing competitive fast paced games you have to take into account how often and how quickly you’re moving the mouse.
125hz = 8ms of input delay
1000hz = 1ms of delay
Setting it to 1000 is usually the sweet spot, because there are diminishing returns and some downsides of setting your polling rate to something higher like 8000hz.
