DIY: How to Make a Realistic Fire Pit with Lights
Last year, for the 70th anniversary of Victory Day, Barnaul schools decided to hold a competition for the best production dedicated to the anniversary. A month before, the class teacher asked me to help make props for a mini-performance. The production needed a piece of an old fence, a mailbox, and, of course, the highlight: a working bonfire. The first and second props were easy to come by. I found an old fence at my parents' place, took it apart, and restored it to a presentable condition. I made the mailbox from a cardboard box and pasted a photo of a Soviet-era mailbox on it. The bonfire, however, presented a challenge: how and what to make it from. After searching online, I couldn't find anything, so I had to make my own. The final result is up to you to decide.
