How To Use Skype From Your Web Browser in Outlook.com
http://gainmindshare.com/?p=1842 Many times we would like to use Skype but not be tied down to the desktop. When that happens, we can utilize Outlook.com to use Skype. This means that regardless of where we are, if we have a web browser, we should be able to get Skype.
In the past, I have used solutions like imo.im and Meebo.com, but it seems that they no longer offer that kinds of connection. I think that this is what was happening last year when companies like Pamela (my favorite Skype recording tool) were up in arms because Microsoft no longer offered them promised support. This is obviously the reason, they wanted to connect Skype to the Microsoft Universe.
What this means for internet marketers is that they can participate in conversations with their business associates as well as their favorite groups.
One of the other things going on is that for those that use Microsoft Exchange and Lync, there is some similarity in the connections. As far as what that means to me as a marketer, I'm not quite sure yet, but we will see.
I do wonder if that means that you can use Skype from inside of your desktop outlook software, although that doesn't really offer any conveniences or solve any problem in particular.
